Sehat.

Terms of Use.

Effective 4 August 2026

The short version

Sehat is a food logging app. It is not a doctor and it does not give medical advice. Paid plans are billed by Apple, renew automatically, and you cancel them in your Apple account, not by contacting us. Nobody from Sehat will ever call you.

The rest of this page is the detail.

Who you are agreeing with

Sehat is operated by Abdul Rahim Ansari, based in India. These terms cover the Sehat iOS app and the website getsehat.app. By using either, you agree to them.

You need to be at least 13 years old to use Sehat. If you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian's involvement.

Health disclaimer

This is the most important section on the page, so it comes early.

Sehat is for general information and self tracking. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and nothing in it is medical advice. The AI coach included. Talk to a qualified doctor or dietitian before making decisions about your health, and always if you are pregnant, managing a medical condition, or taking medication.

Calorie and macro figures in Sehat are estimates. Indian recipes vary enormously between kitchens, so we present typical values with a confidence level and a source note rather than pretending a single figure is the truth. Use them as a guide, not as a measurement.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign in secure and for what happens in your account. Give us accurate information when you set it up, particularly the details the app uses to personalise its guidance.

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, or email info@getsehat.app and we will do it for you. What happens to your data is set out in the privacy policy.

Subscriptions and billing

Sehat has a free tier and paid tiers. Paid plans are sold as auto renewing subscriptions and are available monthly or annually.

All payment goes through Apple. Purchases are handled by your Apple account under Apple's terms. We never take your card details, and we never ask for your phone number in order to give you a price.

  • Current prices are shown in the app and on the App Store listing before you buy anything.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Your Apple account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
  • Cancel any time in Settings on your iPhone, under your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the current period ends.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one through Apple support.

Launch pricing. If you join at a launch price, that price applies to your first period only. It renews at the standard price, and we will tell you what that is before you buy. We do not advertise a low price and hide the renewal.

Using Sehat properly

Use the app for your own tracking. Do not resell access, scrape or bulk extract the food database, reverse engineer the app, or use it to build a competing dataset. Do not upload anything unlawful, and do not upload someone else's health documents without their permission.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of the above. If we ever do that to you by mistake, email us and we will sort it out.

What belongs to whom

The app, the website, the dish database, the photography and the Sehat name and marks belong to us. You get a personal, non transferable licence to use the app while your account is active.

What you put in stays yours. Your logs, your weight entries, your uploaded documents. We do not claim ownership of them, and we do not sell them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Sehat running but we do not promise it will never be unavailable. Features may change as the app develops. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan gives you, we will tell you before it takes effect.

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the effective date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email when the change is meaningful.

Liability

Sehat is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make about your health based on what the app shows you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
